MOHELA looks forward to visiting with you at these conferences:

  • SASFAA February 20-23, 2022
  • Coronavirus Situation

The health and well-being of our customers, staff, and our community are a top concern during the emerging Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. MOHELA is committed to keeping our customers informed should any interruption in services occur. Customer service updates will be posted here.

If your student loan borrowers are having difficulty making payments due to the Coronavirus situation or for other reasons, please have them log in to their account to evaluate available repayment plans to lower their monthly payment or to postpone payments.

  • Services for Schools & Borrowers

  • FedLoan Servicing Transfers

FedLoan Servicing has announced that it will stop servicing federal student loans when its current contract ends. Federal Student Aid will begin transferring some groups of FedLoan Servicing borrowers to MOHELA. Affected borrowers should be on the look-out for notices from Federal Student Aid and FedLoan Servicing with more information about this transfer.

Additionally, affected borrowers can expect notices from Federal Student Aid and MOHELA once the transfer is complete. The transfer of borrowers from FedLoan Servicing to MOHELA and to other servicers (who will be determined and announced later) is expected to continue over the next year.

If you have a MOHELA web account, borrowers transferred to us will appear on your reports after each transfer is complete.  Don't have web access?  Click on NEW SCHOOL USER in the green button.
